my learning story

Today we are writing our Hurumanu 1 learning stories.  Here is mine.
My Learning Story
Hurumanu:         who are we ?                                            
Name: Candesse
Teachers: Ds,Ht
Term 3
2020

Reflection:
Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did: 
  •   WW1, Anzac and Women in the war

What I Learned: 
  • I learnt about some of the jobs that women did in the War 
  • They worked in factories making weapons for the war  
  • Before the war most women stayed at home and looked after the house and the family. 

My Favourite Part:

  • Making the slides 
  • Working with my friends

My Next Steps:

  • To be able to learn about more NZ history

Commitment
I was more committed without distractions.
Achievement
I achieved in presenting some good slides.

Sometimes I didn't understand the work so it was good to have help

 I tried hard to respect my T/A s and others when they were helping me, even if the work was hard.

I feel happier this term as I am getting help with my work.

Christchurch earthquake


Today we learning about the Christchurch and this is what i have done.
At 4:35 am on Saturday 4 September 2010, the Canterbury region was rocked by a magnitude 7.1 earthquake. The earthquake was based near Darfield, about 40 kms west of Christchurch. Many buildings were damaged, but only one person died and few people were injured.
