Calypso week 3

Today in English we were asked to describe what this type of music sounds like to us. to me, it sounds like you are at a really nice beach and it's really hot and you could have a really nice swim in the light blue sea. I don't know how timothy sounded. his voice sounded like the waves in the sea. here is a definition i found on google                                                                         👇

Calypso is a style of Afro-Caribbean music that originated in Trinidad and Tobago during the early to the mid-19th century and spread to the rest of the Caribbean Antilles and Venezuela by the mid-20th century

week 2

Today we were asked to tell you what a schooner looks like. The schooner usually has four sails; it has a long deck and at the front of the ship, there is a pole holding the sails. It looks like you can fit a lot of people on it but I'm not really sure. It's quite big in size and looks like you can fit lots of luggage on it. The one thing I wonder is if the ship has an underneath area.

Pita Pockets

Pita Pockets

I was in a team of 3 and I was the Team leader. I had to make sure the other students
collected the right ingredients and followed my instructions. I grated the cheese,
cut up the ham and washed the lettuce. One of the students is dairy free so she
didn't have cheese or sauce. I was pleased with how my Pita pocket turned out and
it tasted delicious. I would like to make it at home.
I  dried the dishes and wiped down the bench and table. I helped another student put things away.
Even though I was very busy I enjoyed being the team leader.

  • Lettuce

  • Cheese - grated

  • Tomato - sliced or diced

  • Carrot - grated
